Recycling
Material Acceptance Criteria
All materials brought to Raisch Products locations intended for recycle drop off are subject to review by our weigh master and field personnel. This will involve a visual content inspection of each load which may result in the rejection and or reloading of the contents for reasons not limited to the following:
- Dirt in concrete or asphalt loads is not accepted at our recycling facilities.
- Wood or yard debris.
- Plastics, visquene, PVC, or trash of any kind.
- Wire mesh (chicken wire)
- Brick content
- Asphalt containing petromat (except where permitted)
- Loads containing more than 10% old base rock.
- Anything containing hazardous materials.
We pride ourselves in the cleanliness of our sites and the top quality of materials we produce. These guidelines for acceptance help us to maximize the customer benefits from using our products.
Added Fee Materials
Certain materials not normally accepted may be allowed on a case by case basis for and added fee. These products often require extra handling and processing and cannot be stockpiled with the normally accepted material. They include:
- Concrete with excessive or untrimmed rebar (greater than 6–8 inches)
- Oversized material greater than 4´x4´
- Asphalt containing petromat (only at certain locations, call ahead before delivery)
- Brick content
